Chrome and Java

So I have never reliably gotten Java to work with Chrome. I posted this on Friday thinking it was just SSL links but the issue seems to be more related to Java than SSL.

And in some cases it seems to be aspx pages with Java code in them.

So for example, http://www.opentable.com's Sign In link (top right hand corner of the page).

In IE and FF I can click that link and it works just fine. When I click on the link in Chrome I get a page cannot be displayed in a frame in the middle of the page.

I guess I'm asking if anyone else can open that link in Chrome. If so how in Zeuss's Butthole are you getting it to work? (The Rock reference.)
