I'm looking to transition 700 users in our Barracuda EGD (Email Gateway Defense) from LDAP authentication, to Azure AD authentication.
Why?
Barracuda sends email quarantine notifications to all of our users, regularly. Starting last Friday (3/31), the link in the email no longer automatically authenticates the user; each user has to login, with their email and (Windows) password.
Reviewing the online documentation, Barracuda says that we should delete all user profiles, then make the switch. The Barracuda forums say that's not necessary. So I reached out to Barracuda Support, and they say that the username must match the user's default email address, otherwise... there will be duplicate users, and the only way to fix it, is to delete all the users. (we have roughly 150 - 200 users like this)
