One of my clients is having a weird issue with incoming emails from senders who use barracuda (or at least from one such sender).
For the sake of simplicity, ACME is my client and VENUS is the sender.
ACME used to have their email hosted at EmailCompany1 using ACME's domain (users used Zimbra to access their mailboxes). EmailCompany1 uses barracuda for mail control, and so does VENUS, based on the email headers. All email from VENUS to ACME was routed correctly and arrived at destination.
Then, 3 months ago, ACME stopped using EmailCompany1 and went to Google, opening a Google Workplace account. The domain remains as was before (e.g. ACME.com and the email addresses are all @ACME.com as well), so the only thing that's changed is the MX record for ACME's domain, which now points at google's servers instead of at EmailCompany1's.
