We are currently running a Barracuda 410 web filter, and since implementing it, we have found that uploading files to both http and ftp sites can be a bit of a challenge at times. Our marketing department uses animoto.com, and whenever they try to upload anything, they get a response from the filter asking for credentials (which will not work anyways, regardless of what you enter). Today, one of our salespeople got a message from the Barracuda saying that incorrect credentials were provided, and she cannot get any further (when trying to upload to an ftp site). On other sites, uploads will start, but time out. After seeing these types of issues on at least a dozen different upload sites, I am beginning to to think that it is related to how the Barracuda talks to our domain controller for authentication (using Kerberos). Has anyone else run into these types of problems with the Barracuda web filters?
